If you've read Robert Allen’s' book "Multiple Streams of Income," then you already know that it has EVERYTHING to do with this current recession. Robert was right-on when he suggested that in order to prosper financially, you need to have more than one stream of income that puts money into your pocket. How does another income stream sound to you during this period that some are calling another "Great Depression?
As I write this now in December of 2008, hundreds of thousands of Americans have lost their jobs since the beginning of the year. For many this is/was their only source of income. Those that are still employed or are retired, have a seen their 401K stream of income severely reduced to levels not seen in years. The major stock indexes in the United States haven fallen by nearly 50% from the peak in 2007 to the trough in 2008. Let us not forget about real estate, the primary reason that we are in this worldwide recession. Home values have slowly deteriorated at an alarming pace while the foreclosures have escalated to new records not seen since the Great Depression. Of those still employed (and WERE about to retire), the majority of them are delaying retirement to compensate for the substantial loses in their 401Ks'. Adding more fuel to the flame, I honestly do not see this current trend changing for the better anytime soon.
Sounds like "the perfect storm." My question to you is, "how are you weathering the perfect storm?" Robert Allen and I are on the same page in the respect that network marketing and MLM (multilevel marketing) are an excellent alternative source of income during this economic downturn. One of the many advantages of network marketing is that you get to leverage other people’s time and energy. This in turn brings more prospects and ultimately income more to. How does this sound?
